It was around mid 2015, when the devoted Hardcore Breaks producer and 'Son of Octamed' like Amiga Breaks (a.k.a. Timo Paul) has released his very own personal work, a 10track digital album of nuskool breakbeats & jungle vibes titled 'Journey's End' (out on Dark Til Dawn Records). By that time, I had the opportunity to make a special presentation of it alongside an interview with Timo on a special GenX showcase, aired last year @ Planet Rave Radio.
An..'Essential Amiga Breaks' section, where Timo talks about the progress of his album, and his story so far by expressing himself and his thoughts about this personal work..
Late 2015, both Timo and Rob (Dark Til Dawn Records owner) have come up with the idea of remastering and re-releasing 'Journey's End', by adding 2 more tunes and getting also some physical copies of it as deserved!
So, the new version of 'Journey's End' features 12 tracks in total and is available on digital and CD format, which is limited to strictly 50 copies!
Gotta admit, I'm pleased & proud receiving a limited CD copy of it and mostly seeing myself on the thanxgivin part on the artwork.
Totally kind and appreciated by my good friend Timo giving shouts out and recognisation to my work!
Regarding the album result, this LP is totally reborn, as all tunes sound upgraded and dopely mastered, moreover I'd show my preference to the fastest tune off this LP, 'Raving Days', which has replaced the previous fastest one like 'Piano Business'.
The artwork is also amazing and fits properly with the font featured and is a profession work in overal.
This is definetely a collector's item of value, so you have to be fast and grab your copies now here .
In my opinion, we in the scene, need physicial copies of releases either CD or Vinyl format and especially if its stuff like this huge album, which is on the highlights in the Hardcore Breaks scene during this year!
It's like an obligation from 'a hardcore soldier to hardcore soldier' let's say, to show some big love & support to the producer & the label for the effort.
Bigup Amiga Breaks and keep it up! Massive shouts out to Rob aswell, who has been raising the label even higher than last year!
