Back to our monthly appointment with one more specialty. This time I had the pleasure to host an exclusive mix by the man like Spaceface.
Spaceface is an electronic music DJ, producer, based in Oxford, UK. Active in the underground scene for over two decades, he has released music and performed under various project names across multiple genres of underground dance music over the years. Both his tunes and mixes are equally as chaotic drawing elements from the early hardcore rave sound, breaks, and Techno.
I first came across his sounds through the mutant releases on Acme Bass - a label that has long since closed its doors, but one whose music I championed during the early GenX years. Additionally, 10 years ago, I paid tribute to the imprint with a special showcase featuring every track from its catalogue.
