"London Techno is anti-commercial." - Interview with Bad Boy Pete

" Lockdown allowed me two options. To carry on as I was, or to really take a deep and meaningful look at who this person called “me” was and make peace with my past. I have also been lucky to have some great therapists over the past 12 years or so and that helped me through lockdown. What was nice was that our extended musical family (you included) all checked in on each other and we all made the experience mutual – something to be shared and cherished." - Bad Boy Pete

This quote is one of the highlights taken from my recent amusing interview that is already going down a storm. This time, I got a professional chat with one of my 'step-brothers' that is Bad Boy Pete.

We sat down on a breezing afternoon in his home studio near London and chatted about many things surrounding his action. Some of the topics were the Techno scene back then and the new generation, his Champion Breaks side project and the odd lockdown days. The interview was conducted for the Iconic Underground Magazine and will be also included on a forthcoming Issue of the mag (print & digital).

Till then, you can take a gander on the full interview as published on the main website of the Iconic Underground Mag here
